CF Family,
The five exhortations of the book of Hebrews are:
1. 2:1-4
2. 3:7-4:13
3. 5:11-6:12
4. 10:19-39
5. 12:18-29
The rest of the book is built around these exhortations. Though it'll take us months/maybe years to work through them, the Hebrews church likely would have heard them in one sitting. Crazy. I'm sure they would have gnawed on them for months/years afterwards though. We can join them in some gnawing.
A note about this Sunday. Sunday will be a short message given the wee ones in with us. You'll see it'll be quite a challenge to pay attention.....but we'll get more than we think we'll get.....because we'll ask the Holy Spirit to speak through the din of little worshippers.
Also, if you're visiting.........this will be a good Sunday to see what matters to CF when it comes to membership. And ALL should come hungry and ready to grub afterwards. There will be plenty so if it's Sunday morning and you realize you don't have anything to bring, don't fret. Come worship, eat and fellowship.
Those planning to renew or wanting to join the body of CF, please don't forget to bring your cards. We'll have extras just in case you forget.
